Supplements and Game Aids
We are constantly working on new products. While our team is small, our ambitions are huge. We vigorously search for new ways to improve every aspect of the game, from providing new content, to new types of game and player aids to make the game experience more enjoyable. We believe that it is not just the core game, but how the game is played and supported, that truly improves your experience. As avid gamers ourselves, we are constantly playing. Through our own gaming experiences, and recommendations from the community and other players, we try to fill the needs of players.
We release supplements in several ways. One of our most common is a multi-part approach. For instance, we believe that you shouldn’t have to pay for something you don’t need. Therefore, we don’t have a general Monster Book, or a Player’s Equipment Guide. Instead, we release smaller books such as Undead Creatures or Reached Weapons Guide. These small books have lower production values as they are released in PDF format. They are cheaper, and you get exactly what you want. If you are a Game Master and you want to introduce a new type of vampire to your game, you don’t want to purchase a book with only one vampire entry and an entire menagerie of creatures you don’t plan on using. Instead, you purchase a much smaller book, with much greater detail, when you need and only if you need it.
When it comes to hard copies, we build more traditional hard copy products, such as the previously mentioned monster collection from our smaller collections. For instance, Undead Creatures will likely appear in a hard copy book along with Meta Humans, Dragon Kind, and more. We take the core elements of these books, such as creature entries and descriptions, and then compile them all into one large book.
Journals
We publish a wide range of Journals. These are blank books waiting for you to fill up th
e core pages. These books organize your information into both softcover or hardcover books. They are a nice touch to any gamer’s collection. Ruel Knudson created these books as an answer to the ugly notebooks and disorganized mess from running and playing games. Now, most of the development and testing team are also using these same journals to keep up with their adventures. If you want a more stylized and organized tool for your gaming experience then you will enjoy these products.
Combat Tracker
The Combat Tracker and Encounter Map help immerse both players and game masters into the combat experience. It provides a slick and easy method for tracking combat, while also adding easy view panels of the most common, and advanced, combat modifiers on all sides for easy reference by players on all sides fo the table. The Encounter Map also provides a combat grid with 1-inch squares for miniature use. This is one product that took the idea of improving game play to the next level. You can put away the books, and forget about GM screens. This is a one stop shopping resource that all players will find beneficial to their game. You cannot go wrong with the Combat Tracker or the Encounter Map.
